Boyd Newlin

Boyd Newlin is a Senior Director of Biostatistics and Programming at Ephicacy. He oversees both large and small FSP engagements providing client engagement and business development aspects of these accounts. From starting FSPs from scratch or taking over legacy FSPs. His focus is on driving growth and customer satisfaction through process improvement and global collaboration practices.

 

With over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in statistical programming and FSP engagement management, Boyd has demonstrated remarkable leadership in bioanalytical teams within the pharmaceutical and clinical research organization industries. In his last FSP engagement, he increased the account from 20 employees to 145 employees over a 3-year period.

 

Boyd’s career in the pharmaceutical industry started as a junior statistical programmer and moved into higher roles in programming and finally into FSP engagement management. His experience comes from past CROs and biotech’s such as PPD, ICON, Cytel, Chiltern, and Insmed.

 

He holds a B.S. in Science with a minor in Business from Radford University and a Post-Baccalaureate in Business Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University.
