Tyagrajan Swaminathan

Tyagrajan Swaminathan (Tyagi) serves as vice president of Statistical Programming at Ephicacy, driving the evolution of biometrics capabilities and supporting organizational growth. 

With over 20 years of experience in the clinical analytics domain, Tyagi has played a pivotal role in building high-performance teams and establishing a strong delivery engine for global pharmaceutical and biotech clients.  

He began his career as a statistical programmer in 2006 with U.S.-based biotech research companies. In 2012, he joined Ephicacy in India, where he has since played a key role in building the statistical programming function, improving capabilities, and strengthening client relationships. 

Tyagi is recognized for his expertise in statistical programming, clinical data analytics, and regulatory submissions, as well as his leadership in team management, competency development, and change management. He is passionate about achieving operational excellence and driving efficiencies through automation tools, open-source technologies such as R and Python, and staying current with CDISC standards. Beyond his role at Ephicacy, Tyagi actively participates in industry conferences, delivering presentations, joining panel discussions, and serving on scientific committees. 

Tyagi holds an M.Sc. in statistics from Mumbai University and an M.S. in applied statistics from Bowling Green State University His professional interests include advancing biometrics through technology-driven solutions and fostering continuous learning within clinical research.
