Venkat Rajagopal serves as the vice president of Client Engagements and Operations at Ephicacy, where he oversees our strategic partnerships and key operational outcomes. In his role, he supports Ephicacy’s real-world evidence (RWE) and AI/ML practice, advancing the development of data-driven, tech-enabled solutions grounded in real-world evidence. A results-oriented leader with 27 years of experience across R&D and commercial roles in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, Venkat brings scientific depth alongside strong business judgment.
He has advanced knowledge of the end-to-end drug development process and has built and scaled sales and marketing capabilities that drive revenue growth and strengthen client relationships. Venkat combines customer insights, market intelligence, and competitor analysis to identify client challenges and design solutions that help clients make confident, informed decisions.
He is known for bringing teams together across scientific, technical, commercial, and operational functions, strengthening alignment and execution. He is particularly focused on applying RWE and AI/ML to support better health care decision-making and improve patient outcomes.
Venkat holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, bringing a strong foundation in both science and business.
